… it’s not far away from the one I posted the other day, but oh well! :)
Behind him, a high pitched beeping sound let him know that the doors were about to shut. He silently said “Goodbye” to the world he had known and stepped through the closing doors. He breathed a sigh of relief.
“No turning back now, Scott,” he said to himself, quietly taking a moment by the door to compose...
Started writing again today, here is my beginning...
“Mr Turner, it is about time you grew up and accepted who you are.”
If he had known that these were the last words he would hear his father speak for some time, Scott Turner may have given them a little more attention. He instead waited for his father to exit before slamming his fist into his wardrobe door.

Scott had only just noticed that the disembodied woman’s voice had abruptly stopped talking. There was no noise outside the carriage, in fact, there was no noise inside the carriage. Scott looked over to the tinted windows that ran along the side of the train. People stood frozen on the platform, their eyes not moving, the step they were about to take remaining unfulfilled.
