“And Harry, with the unerring skill of the Seeker, caught the wand in his free hand as Voldemort fell backwards, arms splayed, the slit pupils of his scarlet eyes rolling upwards. Tom Riddle hit the floor with a mundane finality, his body feeble and shrunken, the white hands empty, the snake-like face vacant and unknowing. Voldemort was dead, killed by his own rebounding curse, and Harry stood with two wands in his hand, staring down at his enemy’s shell.” - Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, page 596
i always thought hufflepuff was the house where the people get sorted into when they don’t fit in any other house… i was convinced to be a gryffindor but when i got sorted into hufflepuff on pottermore and when i read the discription i was happy to be in hufflepuff. it’s not for the people that don’t fit anywhere else, it’s for the cool people and those who have the characteristics of all the other 3 houses. it just feels like home to me… i love to be a hufflepuff!
I hate that people keep saying this, and that they are getting really depressed about it too, genuinely depressed!
Don’t cry too hard because it’s over, smile because it happened!
Don’t get me wrong, I am sad with this being the end of the films, but the end came 4 years ago when Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (the book) was released. And I was devasted then!
I have made my peace with that and, though I will miss new Harry Potter books/films, all good things must come to an end.
This has been a wonderful part of my childhood, something that I will never forget! These books have had such a huge influence on my life. Without Harry Potter I wouldn’t be as into reading as I am, I wouldn’t be half the writer that I am today without these books. Who knows, maybe I wouldn’t even be writing!
They have brought magic into my life that will never leave me, magic that I hold very dear to my heart. For me, it won’t end. I have the memories, I have the influences it has had on my life and the influences I am quite sure it will continue to have.
Like I said, I will miss it. But this is not the end. It is time for the world to begin its journey. It will never leave us. Harry will always be there.
“Whether you come back by page or by the big screen, Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home.”
